Massage has been a part of my life since I was nineteen, but my interest in it began much earlier in Albania, where I'm from—my mother was a masseuse. It was from her that I first drew inspiration for the work that eventually became my profession and passion.
I completed a four-year degree in sport, health and rehabilitation. I am a physical education teacher, training instructor and massage therapist trained in rehabilitation work. These fields complement each other: understanding movement and physical effort helps me understand the body and adapt my approach to its needs.
My career path took me through Kosovo, Germany, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. I worked at a rehabilitation center for competitive athletes, as a training instructor, and in hotels and spas, including Strömstad Spa, Son Spa, Ystad Saltsjöbad, and AIRE Ancient Baths in Copenhagen. At Strömstad Spa, I received the Employee of the Year award in 2017—a particularly fond memory and a significant milestone in my professional career.
I have experience in sports massage, rehabilitation massage, and deep tissue massage, as well as relaxation, pregnancy, bamboo, and hot stone massages. This diversity allows me to tailor a treatment to suit both active individuals who need precise work on tense muscles and those who primarily seek relaxation.
For me, it's not just the technique that matters in massage, but also the way it's applied. Stronger pressure doesn't always mean better results. What matters is the right pace, precision, and body response. I want each treatment to address the true needs of the person who comes to me, rather than repeating a single pattern.
At Manual Therapies, we strive to ensure our work is interwoven and that our treatments complement each other. The face is part of the entire body, so working with facial tension can sometimes begin by relieving tensions in the body that we might not even notice on a daily basis. By combining our skills, we can take a broader perspective on your needs and provide you with more comprehensive care.
I want your body to feel more at ease after the massage, and I want you to feel that this time was dedicated to you.
